Ally’s new bike

Published by under family

Ally got a new big girl bike for her birthday. She tends to struggle with with trikes sometimes but the upright design of a big girl bike must put her at a good angle. She’s gotten a lot better with steering but you can see from these two pictures why she tends to occasionally crash into things or go off-road. . LOL! Look UP Ally! Oh yea. .and her pigtails were pretty stinkin’ cute today too 🙂

4th of July at OCLC

Published by under family

In traditional fashion, we went to OCLC for the festivities, games etc. that they put on then hung out with friends to watch the Dublin Fireworks. They were very impressive, even after just watching Red White and BOOM the evening before. We were closer to where they set them off so Ally got to experience the huge percussive booms. She was a little scared at first but then loved it.
Bryan’s cousin Mallory helped out with the obstacle course and convinced Nicholas to run through it together. They were halfway through it by the time I got there, but it was pretty hilarious. (Mallory won by the way) LOL!

Red White and BOOM!

Published by under family

We haven’t been downtown to Red White and BOOM in quite few years. This year we went downtown with the LaPoint’s and lots of other friends and family and watched them from the rooftop of Grange Ins. parking garage. We had tons of food and lots of time to visit before the show started. It was wonderful. Ally was sporting the cutest patriotic shirt ever and a matching hair bow that I made her. Nicholas had been gone for 3 weeks so Ally was his little buddy in a big way that night. . very cute. Wonderful time with wonderful friends and family.

All partied out. . . .

Published by under family

Ally’s BFF Annabel’s party was last Saturday. . They had a ball playing in the water, opening presents and eating yummy cake. Ally was sitting on the couch after most of the crowd left watching Frank put together Annabel’s new tricycle. Next thing we knew, she had fallen over. She slept like that for about an hour and a half. . . she was DONE. .It’s hard to have that much fun!

Water play at Easton

Published by under family

We went to Easton with the Lapoints this afternoon. . it was a beautiful day so we thought we’d bring towels etc. to see if the girls would want to play in the fountain courtyard. Annabel wasn’t very eager to get too near the water sprays. . it comes out pretty hard with quite a bit of volume. It took Ally a little time to get up the nerve. She stood close for a while and enjoyed getting splashed. She got sprayed pretty hard once which scared her, but she did end up having fun for a few minutes while getting cooled off.

Ally’s first house!

Published by under family

Ally’s first house is a quaint ranch, about 12 square feet, with a real doorbell (which is getting a real workout as you can imagine) Going in and out of the door is the other highlight. . .in. .out. .in. . out. . in. . out. . in. . out
She also got a sand & water table for her birthday though we just have water in it now to prevent mud production 🙂 Between these two additions to our yard, she’ll be spending a majority of her summer outside playing house and staying cool!
