A friend of ours, Holly Moretti just bought a yoga studio in Grandview. The Open House was this weekend and she wanted a painting done for the entry area. I worked on it in the evenings last week and delivered it yesterday. It is 3′ X 4′. The wall and background of the painting is actually a minty green, but the pictures came out lighter- She found the overall design and we switched the colors around etc. to make it perfect for the space she wanted it in. She LOVED it 🙂

We stopped at Steak-n-Shake for some light refreshment. Ally woke up to all of us sipping on our yummy shakes only to find out that she didn’t have one. This was not a happy time, so Daddy gave up his so that his little girl could take a sip; however, this is the last time the shake would ever be in his possession. So we ask is Ally possessive or are shakes just that yummy ?

What does Nicholas think of Ally? This is the question that we get asked most of the time. Does 10 yrs make a difference? Is he jealous of the attention she gets?

I believe this picture sums it all up. Nicholas just adores Ally, and she him. Their may be a difference in age, but the love shared by siblings is something special. Oh, yea, of course they fight sometimes . . . 🙂

Here is a picture of our campsite when we went camping over Labor Day weekend. The other picture is the view from the door of our camper. The campground was full, but looking toward the pond, we couldn’t tell!

We took Nicholas up to the field above the campground to see if there was enough wind to fly his big dolphin kite. There was and he had a great time flying it for about an hour. Ally enjoyed watching it swoop up and down too- The last picture shows Ally reaching for her favorite person- DADDY! She has been 100% daddy’s girl since that weekend. (which makes daddy very, very happy)

This is a photo of Bryan testing for Associate Instructor in MBC. The test included knife on knife defenses, improvised weapons, and empty hand against knife defenses as shown here in the photo.

This is a rare photo, since most of the time Janich is throwing Bryan around.

We went camping near Dayton over Labor Day weekend and had a LOT of fun.  Among other things, we visited the Air Force Museum and went swimming.  This was Ally’s first time swimming and she LOVED it.  One of Nicholas’ favorite planes at the museum was the F15.   Ally just took it all in 🙂

WATER BALLET ANYONE??  We absolutely cracked up at Ally.  At the same time we were swimming, there was karaoke going on in the near-by activity shelter at the camp ground.  (Might I mention really BAD karaoke for the most part) and Ally kept raising her arms during what appeared to be her favorite parts.  She was as entertaining as the karaoke was NOT so much 🙂  Doesn’t it look like baby water ballet??
