Japanese museum lets public touch $2 million gold bar, and thieves steal it
Seriously, have you seen this story? http://www.dispatch.com/national/national.php?story=254088.
The museum wanted to let the public touch this bar of gold, so they did not put it in a case or alarm it in anyway. The results: someone took it !
Now I know what you are saying.
We live in a society, where people are not inherently bad. I agree not all people are bad and I know that thousands must have walked by it touched it and been amazed by the opportunity.
Unfortunately, we live in a society where there are those 1%-ers that look at kindness as an opportunity to exploit and that is what happened. They walked by it took it and were amazed by the opportunity.
I don’t think we should walk around in fear thinking everyone is bad; however, we can not have our heads in the sand either.
Just a thought . . .

Hmm, I wonder if the experience would be the same if it was a fake gold bar?!
How do we know that all gold isn’t fake ? If it is all fake, does that make it real?
