Sometimes I get upset when I feel like someone is stepping on my toes, but as I can you can see . . . it all depends on who is doing the stepping.

This past Sunday we held the first annual portrait party. We invited our friends and their children to join us for a family portrait session. Eleven families, some 30 people, took us up on the offer and on Sunday we took over 600 photographs, ate a ton of food, and had a wonderful time. Take a look below and see some of the photos we took.

Ally LOVES to cuddle with Bryan and share whatever he is eating. Tonight, she opted for sharing some Frosted Flakes with daddy before getting her pajamas on.
mmmmm. . . good snack! After her cereal, she made Bryan put a shoe on her foot that is at least a size or two too small. . .So, Ally had on a diaper, a bib and one tiny shoe. What a goofy girl!

For those of you that remember when I was using felted thrift store sweaters to make bags, I still have a small pile of sweaters that never got used. I saw this one in the pile and thought that it looked like it wanted to be a sweater dress for a little girl. I hacked it up (it was an adult small) and voila! a baby sweater dress! As you can see, Ally has figured out how to give us a ‘cheesy’ smile when she sees the camera 🙂

I think everyone shares Ally’s outpouring of emotion caused by OSU’s loss today.
Hopefully they can come back to beat that team up north next week!

I took Nicholas and Ally out trick-or-treating while Bryan stayed at the house to pass out candy. He was also in charge of the Homeowner’s Association costume contest! He took pictures of anyone in our neighborhood that wanted to enter, then he will post them on the THHA website for residents to vote for their favorites in each category. We had a lot of really original ones this year!!!
Nicholas decided that he was a National Geographic Photographer and Ally was the subject of his photos. 🙂 Bryan let him borrow one of his cameras to wear around. It was pretty darn cute! We never were able to teach Ally to ROAR though 🙂

Ally was sitting on our bed this morning and found Bryan’s iPOD earphones. Though she did try to eat them first, Bryan decided to teach her what they were really for 🙂 As you can see, she thought it was pretty cool! . . . .she still tried to eat them though- LOL!
